The local police fight for the lead, and Mike pulls Robert aside for information. Two detectives are trapped inside the prison, and Robert becomes angry when the officers jam all the cell signals. This stops Kyle from reaching out for help. However, the police restored the cell service fast, and Kyle texted Mike to confirm that he was alive.

Mike's mother watches him enter the prison on live news coverage and sees inmates guide him past burning mattresses and hanging guards. The riot leader finally shows up, and his name is P-Dog. The National Guard loses sight of Mike in the crowd.
