One of the most talked-about Big Brother UK 2025 competitors, Gani Khan, came into the house with a fascinating past and a lot of desire. He is 39 years old, making him one of the oldest roommates in the youngest cast this season. Gani, who was born in Chennai, India, currently resides in Bromley, South London, and works as a night manager at a pizzeria.

Gani has long aspired to be an entertainer and actor outside of her day job. He sees his time on Big Brother UK as a chance to develop himself, get into the media industry, and reveal more about himself than he has in the past.

The audience was immediately struck by Gani's enthusiasm, sense of humor, and readiness to share details of his life as soon as he entered the home. He is among the first housemates to come out with personal information. Gani started experimenting with being bisexual in 2022 and has since talked openly about it.

In January 2024, he also revealed the very intimate account of how his father forced him to marry his cousin, a match he accepted under duress from his family. Additionally, Gani said that he has a 10-month-old son from that marriage. After getting evicted from Big Brother UK this week, Gani remarks that he wished he could have revealed more of these intimate details to the viewers and other housemates in an interview.

Gani’s role & strategy in the Big Brother UK 2025 house

Gani joined Big Brother UK as a storyteller in addition to a contestant. He made the decision to be honest rather than use a coding technique, revealing details about his name, family, and goals. These actions made him stand out, but they also exposed him. Early in the season, he became a focal point for emotional ties and drama.

Inside the house — His moves & conflicts

Gani was exposed to high-pressure situations almost immediately. He was placed among the first nominees on Day 2 due to the show's "Evil Eye" twist, which put him in a perilous position early on. He refused to back down, stating that he would rather be true to himself than play a defensive, safe game.

Additionally, Gani and Sam had a noteworthy argument over laughter and apparent disrespect, indicating that his loud personality could be problematic with others. He did, however, have allies: he bonded with Caroline and described being drawn to her presence and manner right away.

Gani upheld his strategy even in the face of conflict. In the end, he thought that truthfulness would win respect, or at least transparency, among housemates, even though he realized that being forthright or raising his voice could be misinterpreted.

Eviction night & legacy

After the second housemate was kicked out, Gani's stint in the Big Brother UK house came to an end. The eviction was unable to take place outside due to Storm Amy. Gani was brought out through a side door to the Late & Live studio for his exit interview when the live audience was canceled. He was taken aback by the result and softly acknowledged that he didn't think he had enough airtime to get to know him better.

In his exit remarks, Gani said:

“I loved every bit … and this is such a wonderful experience … I’m so, so, so grateful.

His influence persisted after he left. Fans commended his bravery for being genuine and vulnerable in a high-stakes situation on social media. Many pointed out that Gani's battle to strike a balance between strategy and identity reflected the fundamental conflict of Big Brother UK, which is a game of connection as much as rivalry.
