Memory of a Killer is an upcoming Fox drama that is set to premiere on Fox on January 25, 2026. It follows a man who goes by two names, Angelo Flannery and Doyle, because he lives two lives. On hand, he is a hitman, but to his family and friends, he is a simple photocopier and salesman. This dual life was working well for him, until he started having symptoms of early-onset Alzheimer’s and his past also came to haunt him and his family.

Memory of a Killer is a story of a man who thought he had mastered the art of living a double life. Angelo has mastered the art of separation. In New York City, he is a skilled hitman, and in Cooperstown, he sells photocopiers, cooks dinner, and raises his daughter, believing the two lives will never clash. That balance no longer exists when Angelo begins to experience memory lapses he knows are due to the Alzheimer’s that runs in his family, and has already taken his brother from him.

Among all this, Angelo learns that his wife’s recent death may have been staged as an accident but wasn't and soon, his pregnant daughter becomes a target, proving that someone from his violent past is after him and his loved ones. Angelo can't lose any more loved ones and thus tries to find out who from his past is haunting him and his family. But his Alzheimer’s makes each day difficult, as he does his best to remember the important things and protect his family.

The protagonist of Memory of a Killer is Angelo Flannery/Doyle, played by Patrick Dempsey, who is most popular for playing Dr. Derek Shepherd in Grey's Anatomy. He has also played the role of Andrew Hennings in Sweet Home Alabama, Robert Philip in Enchanted and Disenchanted, and Aaron Spencer in Dexter: Original Sin, among other roles. Michael Imperioli, known for his roles in Goodfellas, The Sopranos, The White Lotus, and others, stars as Dutch.

Richard Harmon stars as Joe and Odeya Rush stars as Angelo’s daughter, Maria. Harmon is best known for his performances in Final Destination Bloodlines, The Killing, The 100, and The Night Agent, among others. Odeya Rush is best known for her roles in Lady Bird, Let It Snow, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, among others.

Daniel David Stewart plays Maria's husband Jeff, and Peter Gadiot plays Dave. Stewart is known for his roles in Reacher, For All Mankind, and The Fugitive, among others, while you might remember Gadiot from Yellowjackets, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, Queen of the South, and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, among others. Gina Torres, known for her roles in Suits, Pearson, The Perfect Find, and 9-1-1: Lone Star, stars as Linda Grant.

Memory of a Killer is created by Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone, who are also executive producers on the show along with Cathy Schulman, Peter Bouckaert, Arthur Sarkissian and Martin Campbell. The production companies behind the show are Warner Bros. Television, Fox Entertainment, Welle Entertainment, and Eyeworks.

Memory of a Killer will premiere on Fox on January 25, 2026. It'll be available for streaming on Hulu from the next day.
