Not Suitable For Work is set to follow this ambitious group of young professionals, and since the series' pickup, five actors have already been cast for the roles. According to the latest updates, Jay Ellis is set to join the upcoming Hulu series along with the five actors.

Ellis, who previously appeared in projects such as Top Gun: Maverick and Insecure, will be playing Bill Gibson. According to reports, Gibson is a charismatic and successful investment banker, known and admired for being one of the top-earning managing directors at his firm.

Ellis will be joining actors such as Ella Hunt, Avantika, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay, and Will Angus on Not Suitable For Work. All five of these actors are set to play different successful working professionals in diverse fields. Starting with Avantika (The Sex Lives of College Girls), who will be playing Abhinaya "Abby" Chilukuri. Abby is a fashionista and the savviest in her field, serving as the assistant to a celebrity stylist.

Ella Hunt, previously seen in projects such as Saturday Night and Dickinson, will be playing AJ Pascarelli, an intense yet charming first-year analyst at an investment bank. Will Angus is set to play a finance bro, Davis Beau Brandley Barrett III, who, despite being a frat boy, just wants to find love.

Jack Martin will be seen as a smart and idealistic New Yorker, Josh Teitelbaum, followed by Nicholas Duvernay (The White Lotus, Bel Air). He will play an anxious medical student hoping to land his first big break as an actor.

All of these characters are at intense points in their professional careers, to say the least. They've found their niche but are still learning and trying to get to the big break, so having a personal life and relationships is not high on their list. Only time will tell how that turns out for them.

Mindy Kaling, the creator and executive producer, will be joined by showrunner Charlie Grandy. Howard Klein is also joining as an executive producer for the project, which:

"centers around five work-obsessed twenty-somethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill."

As of now, there are no updates regarding a release date for Not Suitable For Work, but the project has yet to go into production, so there will surely be a long gap before its release.
