PBS's period crime drama Miss Scarlet Season 6 was released on the streaming platform on December 7, 2025. It will begin broadcasting Season 6 episodes on PBS MASTERPIECE from January 11, 2026.

The period drama narrates the story of Eliza Scarlet, who takes over her father's detective agency after his death and tries to survive in the male-dominated field of work. Along with Kate Phillips and Cathy Belton, Season 6 has several new and returning faces in the ensemble cast.

1) Kate Phillips as Eliza Scarlet

Kate Phillips' character, Eliza Scarlet, will be returning in Season 6 of the period crime drama. Eliza will be seen solving several new and strange cases in the new Season from dealing with a psychiatric patient to a divorced couple and their scandal. The latest season will also focus on her personal life, as we will see her camaraderie with DI Blake changing.

Phillips' most popular role was in Peaky Blinders, where she played Linda Shelby. She has also appeared in Netflix's The Crown and Apple TV's Hijack, starring Idris Elba.

2) Cathy Belton as Ivy Woods

Cathy Belton also returns as Ivy in Miss Scarlet Season 6 as the faithful caretaker of Eliza, who also helps with the police administrative work. Ivy recently got married to Mr. Potts, the coroner, and the latest season will explore more of their lives together, while they also help Eliza solve the new criminal cases.

Belton was part of many shows and was seen in The Catch, The Woman in White, and Clean Sweep, among several others.

3) Tom Durant Pritchard as Alexander Blake

Tom Durant Pritchard joined the crime drama in Season 5 as DI Alexander Blake. While his relationship with Eliza initially looked tense, it might improve in the latest season as they work on the cases together.

Pritchard was last seen in The Forsytes.

4) Simon Ludders as Barnabus Potts

Simon Ludders' Mr. Potts will also return for Miss Scarlet Season 6 as the stiff coroner and now as Ivy's husband. Therefore, with the main storyline, there will be much to see of the character's growth in Season 6.

The English actor has been a part of numerous popular TV shows such as You, Doctor Who, Bridgerton, and Broadchurch, among several others.

5) Paul Bazely as Clarence Pettigrew

Paul Bazely's character, Clarence, is the bookkeeper and Eliza's employee. In Season 6, with the return of Moses from Season 3 of the crime drama, we might get to see a 'friendly rivalry' between the duo to get the work done.

The popular English actor was also a part of shows such as Doctor Who, Black Mirror, Midsomer Murders, and All Creatures Great and Small, among others.
