As this episode of Moon Rivers continues, the Qing boy arrives for questioning. Yi-kang asks him about the Zhen bird and finds out about the bird’s “homing instinct” which they can use. Hong-nan then speaks to Yi-kang about protecting Dal-i. She gets angry at him, indicating that Dal-i is getting impacted because of him. Yi-kang tells her that this time he would be protecting Dal-i with all his heart.

On the other hand, Han-chul gets informed by his subordinates about Yi-kang’s decision to take Dal-i as a concubine. He decides to test whether Yi-kang has any feelings for Dal-i. He calls Dal-i to speak to him. Hearing that Han-chul has called Dal-i to speak to him, he promptly goes to see if Dal-i is harmed. Seeing Yi-kang’s behavior towards the situation, Han-chul understands that he has feelings for her.

Yi-kang then tells Dal-i about his plans, which makes Dal-i want to get involved. However, Yi-kang refuses right away. He does not want to put Dal-i in any more danger. This time, Yi-kang is determined to take down the Left State Councillor. Yi-kang then speaks with Je-woon. He tells him that his book helped him immensely with understanding the truth about the bird.

Hearing this, Je-woon is extremely happy and hugs him. Yi-kang then tells Je-woon about the plan to take down the Left State Councillor and also that he should run away with U-hui.
