America's Got Talent is back on TV again with its premiere that dropped on May 27, 2025. The episode featured performances from various individuals and groups, and two of them managed to earn the Golden Buzzer. This means that they do not have to appear at any more of the stages and can directly appear at the finale.

The two selected were a dancing group called LightWire, for whom Simon Cowell rang his Golden Buzzer, and the second one was a 23-year-old singer called Jourdan Blue from New Orleans.

LightWire did an unbelievable performance on stage, which emotionally moved Simon Cowell. He is rare to hand out compliments to anyone, let alone on the first day of the auditions, and to get a golden buzzer from him under those conditions is truly a feat. Before he pressed the buzzer, the judge said,

"You never, never know when you’re doing a new year whether you’re going to see something better than you’ve seen before. And honestly, I’m not just saying this, this is one of the most beautiful, stunning acts that I have seen across all the Got Talent. You were so emotional. I don’t know why you were nervous, because you were always going to get one of—you know what’s coming…”

The act was pulled by LightWire, which is a dance and technology company. During their performance, they combined technology with movements and colors, which awed the audience with their bright display.

The group was founded by three people from Brazil. And to say that the group manifested their victory would be an understatement. The creators revealed that they had seen a dream two years ago about performing on the America's Got Talent stage.

Their performance was a blend of various cultural moments celebrated in Rio, such as the Carnival, along with the beauty of nature. The soundtrack included drums and animal sounds.

As for the dancers, they wore LED costumes that glowed in the dark, were paired perfectly with the visuals on the screen.

They would turn off the lights of their clothes as soon as the scene went dark and were quick to align themselves with the animal at hand, such as a monkey or a snake, whatever was present on the mesh screen in front of them.

The overall routine showed the judges a jungle with monkeys in it, and then a waterfall, and last, a snake.

Talking backstage to the team on America's Got Talent, Simon Cowell expressed,

"It was actually magic. One of my favorite ever acts.”

The group uses light-up costumes, which are made with fiber optic cables and LED Lights. Paired with a dance routine, the entire thing becomes an opportunity for a unique experience for the viewers
