Motorheads cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the Prime Video series?

Prime Video’s new series, Motorheads, premiered on May 20, 2025, revolving around the residents of a small town of Ironwood, in Pennsylvania. While being an up-and-coming Young Adult series, Motorheads is also a show for people who love cars as the series features everything from vintage to modern cars and plenty of racing.

The synopsis of Motorheads reads:

“Motorheads is about first love, first heartbreak, and turning the key in your first car. Set in a once-thriving rust-belt town that’s now searching for a glimmer of hope, the series is an adrenaline-filled story of a group of outsiders who form an unlikely friendship over a mutual love of street racing, while navigating the hierarchy and rules of high school.”

1) Nathalie Kelley as Samantha

Nathalie Kelley's role as Neela in the film The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift became one of her popular roles. Beyond movies, the actress also appeared in several popular TV shows such as Dynasty and The Vampire Diaries.

In the new Prime Video series, Kelley plays Samantha, an ER nurse and the mother of Caitlyn and Zac, who comes back to Ironwood, her hometown, after living in Brooklyn for years.

2) Ryan Phillippe as Logan Maddox

Ryan Phillippe plays Logan Maddox in the Prime Video series, who is described as a former NASCAR driver but now owns an auto shop in Ironwood and is struggling to stay afloat.

Phillippe is not new to the Hollywood scene, as you might have seen in many popular films such as Cruel Intentions, Crimson Tide, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and The Lincoln Lawyer.

3) Melissa Collazo as Caitlyn

American actress Melissa Collazo has impressed the audience with her role as Maeve in One of Us is Lying. Apart from that, Collazo has also appeared in Stranger Things.

Collazo plays Caitlyn, the twin sister of Zac in the Prime Video series, and is willing to start afresh her life in Ironwood, where both the twins find out more about their father, who had vanished a long time ago.

4) Michael Cimino as Zac

Michael Cimino’s Zac is Samantha’s teenage son and Caitlyn’s twin brother. Unlike Caitlyn, Zac is not happy with moving to Ironwood until he meets Mia Healey’s Alicia and gets on the wrong foot with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Harris (Josh Macqueen).

Cimino was last seen in the popular horror movie Annabelle Comes Home, and also on Disney Plus’s Love, Victor.

5) Nicolas Cantu as Marcel

Even after Harris creates problems for the new residents of Ironwood, Zac and Caitlyn find a friend in their neighbour, Marcel, played by Nicolas Cantu.

The multitalented Nicolas Cantu is not just an actor but also a video producer and was also previously an animator. He has appeared in the popular Steven Spielberg film, The Fabelmans, as Hark, and for TV shows, his most popular role was on The Walking Dead: World Beyond as Elton.

6) Uriah Shelton as Curtis

The young American actor, Uriah Shelton, has been seen in several popular series such as The Suite Life on Deck, Monk, Girl Meets World, 13 Reasons Why, and Looking for Alaska. He has also appeared in films like Freaky and Unhuman.

In the Young Adult series, Shelton plays Curtis, a young mechanic who helps Caitlyn repair her father’s old Citroën Charger with her uncle Logan’s help.
