Netflix's teen romantic drama My Life with The Walter Boys, premiered its first season on December 7, 2023, and managed to create a buzz among the viewers in no time. Even though the show has garnered a mixed response on IMDb and an average critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes so far, it was renewed for Season 2. All 10 episodes of My Life with The Walter Boys, Season 2, dropped on August 28, 2025.

What makes the show interesting is its fresh cast and their incredible talent, besides an engaging storyline. Inspired by Ali Novak's 2014 novel of the same name, the series follows the life of Jackie Howard, a 15-year-old orphan who moves to rural Colorado to live with the Walters. However, things get complicated as she finds herself developing feelings for the Walter brothers, Alex and Cole. By the end of Season 1, despite being in a relationship with Alex, Jackie kisses Cole in Walter's family barn. Unable to bear the consequences of the mess that she has created and the emotional turmoil that follows, she leaves for New York.

Nikki Rodriguez plays Jackie Howard, a 15-year-old orphan who moves from her privileged life in New York to live with the Walters in rural Colorado. Here, she gets entangled in a love triangle with the Walter siblings, Alex and Cole. As she tries to untangle and find a way out of the mess, she gets pulled deeper into a swirl of emotions.

Before playing Jackie Howard, Nikki appeared as Vero in the 2021 series On My Block, and has worked in the film, Back to Lyla. She is also set to play Naya Garcia in a project titled Human.

Noah LaLonde as Cole Walter

Noah LaLonde plays Cole, Jackie's love interest and a part of the chaotic love triangle. The second eldest sibling of the family, he is athletic, outgoing, and popular. However, his athletic career is cut short after he suffers an injury. When Jackie arrives in Colorado, he bonds with her and, as a result, develops feelings for her. This changes his dynamics with his brother Alex.

Gentry plays Alex Walter in My Life with the Walter Boys. His personality is quite different from Cole's. He is shy and a nerd, and loves reading books. When Jackie arrives, he too starts developing feelings for her.
