Pluribus is an ongoing drama created by Vince Gilligan.
The show has received positive reactions from the audience and critics alike. Creator Vince Gilligan and Rhea Seehorn have been promoting the show through several interviews. As of now, the show has an 8.3 rating on IMDb. Gilligan has also directed some episodes of the show. Other directors include Gordon Smith, Adam Bernstein, Melissa Bernstein, Gandja Monteiro, and Zetna Fuentes.
Recently, Gilligan sat for an interview with Apple TV to discuss the show. One of the questions that Rhea Seehorn read for him pointed out that there are helicopters, airplanes and drones in the show. Seehorn went on to ask him why he loves aviation so much. To this, he responded:
"Yeah, I love aviation. It is my midlife crisis. I learned how to fly late in life and I fly helicopters and it is the single coolest thing about me. But I tell you what, the guy who does that uh flying, dropping off the excavator, it's insane."

Gilligan further praised the drone guy in the show. He also mentions the importance of including things that you love. Seehorn also pointed out how drones are used for shooting the show but they are also in the show. To this, Gilligan agrees and adds that drones are like a kind of "actors" in the show.
For Gilligan, the aviation theme brings up the learning and flying experiences. He talks about aircraft and training. The whole thing is an interesting and fun ordeal.
Pluribus was created at a time when Gilligan was more open to discussing his personal interests, especially those outside of television. In that larger context, aviation becomes one of the topics mentioned.
