90 Day Fiancé Season 11 has been nothing but a roller-coaster ride for all the participating couples. When individuals from different cultures, faiths, countries, and backgrounds come together and form a connection, it inevitably raises several issues.
However, with 90 Day Fiancé's Sarper and Shekinah, both of them have been in a constant race to prove they are a perfect match, for all the wrong reasons. Whether it is Sarper's short-tempered nature or controlling behavior, or Shekinah's ultimatums and detachment, both are giving each other real competition in proving how they truly deserve each other.
While one of them would do something unexpected, the other one is probably ready with another outrageous thing that would escalate the situation even more. Additionally, none of them seems to be taking accountability for their actions.
90 Day Fiancé Season 11: Sarper and Shekinah - Too many red flags and emotional manipulation
Throughout the currently running 90 Day Fiancé Season 11, Sarper and Shekinah have been a couple who often get in unnecessary arguments, and that goes on and on far longer than it should have.
Some individuals feel opposites attract, and how they let go of certain things they find in their partners. But, after seeing Sarper and Shekinah with each other, especially after Sarper moved to the US, both of them have been testing each other's patience, every now and then.
The couple has been through numerous unimaginable arguments and fights that most couples won't experience. Viewers witnessed name-calling, body-shaming, and even more rage-filled fights between the two. With such incidents happening from time to time, viewers have also come to accept that, for all the wrong reasons, Sarper and Shekinah deserve each other.
There was an incident where 90 Day Fiancé's Sarper and Shekinah went to meet the latter's family, which also turned into an unexpected turn of events. Sarper also went on calling Shekinah looking like "homeless" people after her nose surgery. Instead of being supportive and comforting, Sarper's behavior seemed quite odd and unromantic.
The most recent incident was Sarper adding a weight condition in their pre-nup. His idea of charging Shekinah $1000 for each pound she gains over 128 pounds was not only shocking but also deeply controlling and sexist.
On the other hand, Shekinah has also been doing the same, as she also carries multiple red flags all around her. With so many boundaries and rules inside her home, and wanting Sarper to leave the apartment whenever she has a client, was absolutely shocking. Who does that with their fiancé?
After Sarper left home without informing her, she used the AirTag from Sarper's keychain to locate him. Both of them have been showing signs and patterns of emotional manipulation since the beginning.
90 Day Fiancé's Sarper and Shekinah feel as if they are mirroring each other's toxicity and have no regard for each other's feelings. As an individual, they seem to be thriving on chaos and drama. Rather than focusing on love and respect, they have been wrongly focused on insecurity, power struggles, and emotional manipulation.
TLC will air 90 Day Fiancé Season 11 Episode 17 on June 8, 2025.
