Starting in fall 2025, CBS will dedicate every Tuesday night from 8:00–11:00 p.m. ET exclusively to its NCIS franchise. This flagship series will lead off at 8:00 p.m., followed by NCIS: Origins at 9:00 p.m. and NCIS: Sydney at 10:00 p.m. ET. CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach dubbed this three-hour block “Super Tuesdays,” aiming to deliver a seamless franchise experience.

This show has been renewed for its 23rd season, expected to premiere in mid-September 2025 during CBS’s fall schedule launch. Wilmer Valderrama teased on CBS Mornings that viewers can expect “more cross-show surprises” across the interconnected storylines. New episodes will be available to stream on the morning after their CBS broadcast, with past seasons accessible for catch-up.

The First-Ever All-NCIS Tuesday Night

CBS will break from its traditional mix of comedies, dramas, and reality shows by stacking three titles back-to-back on Tuesdays. This includes:

· 8 p.m. ET: NCIS (flagship procedural)

· 9 p.m. ET: NCIS: Origins (agent backstories)

· 10 p.m. ET: NCIS: Sydney (international spin-off)

Why Tuesdays?

“We’ve heard our audience loud and clear,” said Amy Reisenbach. “Our ‘Super Tuesdays’ block rewards fans with three straight hours of NCIS action.”

By dedicating one night entirely to NCIS, CBS aims to keep viewers from switching channels between shows.

While an exact date is still under wraps, Season 23 traditionally premieres in the third week of September, so look for it around mid-September 2025. NCIS: Origins and Sydney will follow weekly in their new time slots throughout the season.

All episodes become available on the morning after their CBS broadcast, making it easy for viewers who miss the live airing to catch up. Plus, every past season of the three series remains on for full binge-viewing.

What the Cast Is Saying

· Wilmer Valderrama (Special Agent Torres) told CBS Mornings that the new block will make the NCIS world feel “bigger than ever,” with more crossover moments between the shows.

· Diona Reasonover (Kasie Hines) shared that expanding the franchise to three hours will give her character room to “shine alongside the other teams”.

Why It Matters

By consolidating three top-rated series into one night, CBS reinforces its status as its strongest franchise. This move not only simplifies the schedule but also creates a weekly event that encourages fans to tune in and stay engaged across all three shows.

As television viewing habits continue to shift, “Super Tuesdays” offers a clear destination for procedural-drama enthusiasts.
