The show focuses on how she balances her personal life with her children while also juggling the problems that come with being in a male-dominated field. Lachey entered beauty pageants but transitioned into acting. She has previously worked on 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, and others show. She also hosted a show called Love is Blind and Wipeout. Her husband is Nick Lachey.

Alex Tarrant as Kai Holman - Tarrant has worked on stage and screen and has appeared in projects like Night Raiders and SeaChange. He was also seen in Rings of Power. His character Holman is a native of Hawai’i, and he joined the Marines after his mother’s death. Holman is dependable and capable and can become invisible in secret missions.

Yasmine Al-Bustami as Lucy Tara - The character of Tara begins as a junior field agent on the NCIS: Hawai’i team. She wants to prove her worth and is also the franchise’s first LGBTQ+ agent. Al-Bustami has worked in SWAT, The Originals, The Chosen, and more.

LL Cool J as Sam Hanna - Hanna has been an important character in NCIS: Los Angeles, and he becomes a recurring cast member in NCIS: Hawai’i. Noah Mills as Jesse Boone - Boone is the second-in-command at the NCIS Pearl Harbour team and is close to Tennant.
