The action and intrigue continue in the NCIS universe, but this time the story shifts to Australia in NCIS: Sydney Season 3 on Paramount+. U.S. Air Force officer Amy Hale and her boyfriend Wesley, are driving through the area when they nearly collide with a woman standing in the street.Wesley runs off to locate help, but he notices some bright, strange lights in the sky following him. When he returns, Amy and the woman are gone. The NCIS: Sydney team, led by Mackey, comes to investigate the case.They identify the strange woman as Elke Johasson, a solo Swedish backpacker. Things get weirder when they find out that Amy made a short emergency call before vanishing, as if she and Elke were both running from something together.Witnesses, Wesley included, observed the same three lights in the sky. Many locals think aliens may have abducted them, but NCIS continues to attempt to find a human explanation. Soon, the team also learns that several blonde women have gone missing in the same area.And to make it even more complicated, it's revealed that local officer Constable Karl Drysdale didn't solve the cases and brushed them off, thinking that they were tourists who had left town. Soon, a sandstorm comes and wipes out the tracks and damages their supplies.Taking shelter from the cold desert night, they uncover a cave that reveals the remains of several of the missing women, including one named Lucy, who Karl had insisted went to Perth. The bodies have been cut up with a bone saw, and evidence seems to lead to Lucy’s boyfriend, who was a hunter.The episode of NCIS: Sydney Season 3 continues, and this discovery leads to the team searching his workshop, and they even find a saw with blood on it. However, Mackey starts feeling something is wrong.All of the victims confirmed are blonde, which connects right back to Karl, who was mocking at the missing persons board at the local roadhouse.
