NCIS: Tony & Ziva Episode 4 recap: Two traps and Boris and Fruzsi's wedding
Episode 4 of NCIS: Tony & Ziva opens with Tony, Ziva, Boris, and Fruzsi putting their risky plan into action. Their goal? To lure Martine and her accomplice, Galimard, to the wedding and catch them red-handed. However, Martine and Galimard have plans of their own. Fruzi's subtle social media post confirms that the ceremony is on, which works as bait for Martine.
Boris nervously worries about the wedding day being ransacked, but Claudette steps up, revealing she's ordained and marries the pair on the spot. It's a surprisingly warm and emotional moment before the actual chaos erupts. Claudette tracks Martine and Galimard, assuring it's the two of them. Ziva and Tony prepare for the final play, spoofing Henry's number to keep Martine texting long enough to capture the data they need.
However, the police burst in, arresting Fruzsi for shoplifting, leaving Boris frantic. Ziva steps up to be the fake bride for Boris (to keep their plan intact). Before anyone can process what went wrong, Henry and Interpol agents crash the church.
NCIS: Tony & Ziva Episode 4 recap: Henry's betrayal and Galimard's fall
Claudette discovers Fruzsi never made it to the prison system. Turns out it was Galimard's plan. Cut to Fruzsi breaking out of a body bag, fighting Galimard, and refusing to be a victim.
Henry crashes the wedding with Interpol agents, shattering whatever Ziva and Tony had in control. The scene explodes into action. Guests scatter. Henry confirms they know that the wedding is full of inmates, but insists he's not there for them; he wants Boris, who's now under a Red Notice.
Tony saves Fruzsi, but not before ending up in a brutal hand-to-hand fight with Galimard. A statue drops on his head, and the brawl ends with Galimard crashing through a stained-glass window into the water below. Meanwhile, Ziva takes on Henry. She lands a blow and accuses him of threatening her daughter and framing them for murder. Henry's confusion at the end suggests that he might not be the true mastermind, but Ziva seems determined to teach him a lesson.
NCIS: Tony & Ziva Episode 4: Romance surfaces amid chaos
With the team finally on a boat and the 9.4 retrieved from Martine's bag, the bigger picture comes into focus. The data points to a supermax prison where Secretary General Jonah is being held under a fake name.
Previously while setting the church with lilac flowers, Ziva gets a flashback. Back in 2020, Tony proposed to Ziva with a family ring and Ziva said yes. Since then five years have passed, their relationship remains complex but Episode 4 ending reignites the spark between them.
Amid the chaos, Tony and Ziva share a sweet moment. Tony proposed to Ziva. Below the deck, Tony helps Ziva to remove the wedding dress, and they kiss. Fruzsi brings in champagne. (A moment all Ziva fans have been waiting for years). As the boat sails into the night, Tony drapes a jacket around Ziva's shoulders. The mission ahead is tough yet clear: clear their names and finally get the life they've been fighting for all these years.
