If you are big on Astrology, you will love Netflix's upcoming feature. Many viewers who believe in Astrology often think characters act a specific way, or shows take a certain turn, because they are aligned with a certain zodiac sign. While we cannot say for sure if the stars and planets are responsible for You's Joe murdering Love or The Diplomat's Grace Penn ordering the attack on a British Naval Ship, you can now watch shows and movies that align with your zodiac or a zodiac you like.

As Discussing Film (@DiscussingFilm) reported on X, Netflix is going to introduce a new recommendation hub, which will recommend you shows and movies based on your zodiac sign. That means the platform is going to categorize the shows and movies according to the most common trait of each zodiac. Keep reading to know more.

Netflix will be recommending shows and movies based on zodiac signs

Netflix, like most other streaming platforms, mostly categorizes shows and movies by genre and language. That was up till now. Discussing Film (@DiscussingFilm) reported on X about a new feature Netflix is about to introduce. The new zodiac-based feature will uniquely recommend shows. For instance, Wednesday is known for its mysterious nature, and Scorpios are popular for being mysterious. Thus, the show Wednesday is categorized under Scorpio.

Other shows categorized under Scorpio are You, The Residence, and House. You were a mystery, even when we knew Joe was a serial killer, and The Residence maintained the mystery until the last moment when the real killer was revealed dramatically. Similarly, some of the shows listed under Virgo are Oppenheimer, Queen's Gambit, and Beef, since Virgos

"Are Always Hustling," as Netflix puts it.

If you have watched any of these three titles under Virgo, you know each title's protagonists are go-getters.

For Libras, the platform has decided to highlight that they are passionate and smart, saying,

Libras Play Fair in Love and War

Under Libra, some of the titles recommended are Hit Man, Back in Action, and Empress Ki. As the category suggests, Gary Johnson from Hit Man, Emily and Matt from Back in Action, and Ki Seung-nyang from Empress Ki are all characters who are met with dangerous challenges, overcome them, and also champion love.

The new 'Your Zodiac Watchlist' is the newest addition to the list of recommendation hubs Netflix introduced earlier, like Boredom Busters and Young and Powerful. Like all recommendation hubs, this one aims to generate more streaming on the platform, as astrology is something the present generation is highly interested in. Besides, a wide range of new shows and highly anticipated seasons of existing shows are coming out this year, and a new recommendation feature is a great way to generate more streams.

Recommending via Zodiac signs is also a great way to attract viewers who might watch shows and films that are aligned with their respective zodiacs. The list will keep updating throughout the year as new shows and films are released.
