Netflix reveals a new poster for Nobody Wants This Season 2

Almost nobody requires a reminder that Nobody Wants This Season 2 is on the way, due to how popular it was when season one came out. Ironically, for a show called Nobody Wants This, almost everyone wanted a second season, and it is indeed coming out on October 23, 2025.

Netflix had earlier announced the release date for season two, along with some images from the upcoming season. The streaming platform has released a new poster for Nobody Wants This Season 2, which includes the release date for the upcoming season.

Nobody Wants This Season 2

Season 1 of the show features Joanne and Noah falling in love despite having stark differences. Joanne is an agnostic woman, while Noah is a rabbi. As the title suggests, initially, nobody really wants to take a chance on love when almost everything and everyone seems to be against it. However, sometimes you just can't help but let love take its course. That is exactly what happened to Joanne (played by Kristen Bell) and Noah (played by Adam Brody).

Netflix has released a new poster for season 2, which features Joanne and Noah in a side embrace with Noah kissing Joanne's forehead, along with the words,

We're so back

written on it.

Nobody Wants This Season 1 ended with Noah giving up his dream of becoming the Head Rabbi because that would require him to break things off with Joanne (who wasn't Jewish). While that ending was essentially a big romantic gesture, the real question is if and how the couple will navigate their relationship after this point. Season two will explore whether Noah and Joanne can deal with the difficult relationship issues, including the fact that Joanne isn't somebody Noah's family approves of for him.

The new season will also bring in new characters. Leighton Meester is joining the show in a guest role as Abby, who was Joanne's nemesis back in high school, but is now a mommy influencer. Alex Karpovsky is joining the show in season 2 as Big Noah, while Miles Fowler joins as Lenny, and Arian Moayed joins as Dr. Andy.

Other than Bell and Brody, the returning cast of Nobody Wants This for Season 2 includes Justine Lupe as Morgan, Timothy Simons as Sasha, Jackie Tohn as Esther, Michael Hitchcock as Henry, Stephanie Faracy as Lynne, Paul Ben-Victor as Ilan, Tovah Feldshuh as Bina, Sherry Cola as Ashley, and D’Arcy Carden as Ryann.

The show is created by Erin Foster, who was a showrunner and executive producer along with Craig DiGregorio in season one, and Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan are joining them as showrunners and executive producers for season two. Other executive producers include Jack Burditt, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, Greg Mottola, and Steven Levitan.

The show has been collaboratively produced by the production companies Fatigue Sisters Productions, Double Wide Productions, Levitan Productions, Mr. D Productions, 3 Arts Entertainment, Dunshire Productions, and 20th Television.

Nobody Wants This season two will be released on Netflix on October 23, 2025. Season one of the show is streaming on Netflix.
