Netflix unveils first 6 minutes of Wednesday Season 2; introduces Lady Gaga’s character

The initial six minutes of Season 2 of Wednesday were dropped by Netflix as part of its Tudum 2025 fan festival, and the trailer gives an idea of what is to be expected. The teaser is a nod to the doubling down on horror by the series, i.e., a dark tone shift in relation to its first season.

In the scene, Wednesday Addams is bound in a serial killer's basement, surrounded by eerie dolls. The location already imposes tension and suspense at the beginning, and it teases the threats that the character will face in the new season.

New villain of Wednesday: The Kansas City Scalper

The preview introduces a new antagonist: the Kansas City Scalper, played by Haley Joel Osment. He seems poised to be one of Wednesday’s biggest threats this season.
