"Never complains": The Duffer Brothers speak highly of Stranger Things star Jamie Campbell Bower's patience while transforming into Vecna

The glorious journey of Stranger Things is now coming to an end. To say that it has been a memorable journey would definitely be an understatement, as this series became the heart of the viewers. Through the years, along with the characters, the viewers also grew up.

The characters that developed through the years definitely left an impactful mark. Amongst the characters, Vecna, the dangerous villain in the storylines played by the very talented Jamie Campbell Bower, is truly remarkable. It is not just because of the intense performance he gives, but also because of the extensive makeup process through which he has to go every time he enters the screen as Vecna in Stranger Things.

It cannot be denied that Jamie Campbell Bower’s intense presence as Vecna is definitely enhanced by the extensive transformation procedure that he has to go through. The Duffer Brothers, in an interview, speak about the intense process that Jamie Campbell Bower has to go through and praise him for the “patience” he shows every time.

They also admit that Jamie “never complains” about the difficulty of going through the whole process of adding prosthetics to his body and staying in that manner for hours for the filming process. It truly shows the dedication Jamie Campbell Bower has for the art. He definitely does a remarkable job in making Vecna become that dangerous being with his acting process and presence. Jamie Campbell Bower also points out the extremely hot weather, which often makes him sweat extensively in the prosthetic suit.

Vecna plays a vital role in the overall storyline. Especially in the final season of Stranger Things, his presence will be crucial. With only a few days before the final part of this final season, it can be understood that the stakes are definitely high for the characters. At the end of the first part of Stranger Things Season 5, Vecna’s arrival set the stage with some intense action as he admits that Will was chosen for a reason.

In this season, Vecna’s body is also quite different from that in the previous seasons. It is far more dangerous and gruesome than we have seen before. It definitely raises the level of danger. There is no doubt that the final battle, which we will be seeing in the upcoming seasons of the series, will definitely be intense.

While discussing the final part of Stranger Things Season 5, the Duffer Brothers indicate the viewers should be prepared “for everything”, adding that it would definitely be a “dark Christmas" indicating the high stakes that are set to come up in the upcoming episodes of this season. However, the storylines that are about to come up in the upcoming episodes are going to “fell very organic and very much part of the story”.

Their words definitely raise the level of intrigue for the upcoming episodes. These episodes are set to arrive on Christmas Day with three episodes. These three episodes of the second part are about three and a half hours long in total. The final episode of Stranger Things Season 5 will drop on New Year's Eve.
