The Witcher Season 4 reveals new images of Liam Hemsworth as the new Geralt of Rivia
The Witcher Season 4 was one of the most anticipated series of all time, until it was announced that Henry Cavill would be stepping back from Geralt's role. Fans were disappointed, to say the least, more so when they found out that his character had already been recast.
Liam Hemsworth taking over the role was not taken well by these fans, who were heartbroken to find out about this change. The cast and crew have been mostly silent about this change-up until now. A month away from the new season's release, Liam Hemsworth, Freya Allan, and Anya Chalotra sit down with Entertainment Weekly in between takes.
As the cast talks about the next season, it is clear that a change of this magnitude affected everybody in the cast, from Geralt's on-screen love Yennerfer to Allan's Ciri. However, they were also excited to witness everything that Liam brought to the character.
The latest image featuring Hemsworth as Geralt makes it clear that he has his own unique and exciting additions that he's bringing to the character.

Hemsworth reveals how he related to the protective instincts of the character:
"We were brought up with this real sense of taking care of people around you. There's elements of that I felt connected to."
As is, the season is going to be a hell of a journey as Geralt of Rivia and Yennefer try to ensure that they can protect Ciri from the prophecy and make the Continent safe for her to return. Ciri, on the other hand, is now dispersed from the Continent and instead lives with a group of young thieves called The Rats.
The fourth season will witness some of the most fruitful storylines of Ciri being developed, marking a finale where she will finally take her place as the titular The Witcher:
"Some of Ciri's most exciting storylines are really coming to fruition in season 5. It's good to remind people that there's still the original people and there's something exciting to be able to see a new version of that Geralt character."
One thing's for sure: either you'll love The Witcher Season 4 or you'll hate it, but either way, you'll be watching, and Hemsworth is preparing for an epic performance to make it worth your watch.
