Sheriff Country follows Sheriff Mickey Fox, portrayed by Morena Baccarin, who initially appeared in Fire Country during Season 2. Mickey, the new sheriff of Edgewater, seeks to preserve law and order, combat crime, and defend her neighborhood at all cost.

The connection between the two shows will also be significantly aided by Diane Farr's portrayal of Cal Fire Chief and Mickey's stepsister, Sharon Leone. Deeper character development and intriguing new storylines will be made possible by these crossovers.

Aside from her duty as sheriff, Mickey Fox's personal life will be the subject of the new series. This covers her difficult connection with her father, Wes, an ex-con who lives off the radar, as well as her daughter Skye's problems with addiction. Sheriff Country is set to premiere this fall on CBS and will air right before Fire Country Season 4. This scheduling will help viewers easily follow both series and enjoy the interconnected stories. The crossovers and shared setting create a strong link between the shows, helping to build a dedicated audience for the new series.

In summary, Sheriff Country offers a fresh perspective within the Fire Country universe by focusing on law enforcement in Edgewater. The planned crossovers with Fire Country will enhance both series, providing viewers with a richer and more engaging experience.
