New trailer release date revealed for The End of An Era by Taylor Swift

The End of an Era, a six-part docuseries taking us behind the scenes of the Eras Tour, is set to premiere this December. Taylor Swift's Eras Tour was one of the biggest undertakings of her career, and bringing it to life was the most "important and intense chapter" of the artist's life. And now, fans of the global phenomenon have the chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at this chapter of Swift's life in the form of The End of an Era docuseries.

The six-part docuseries was originally announced on Good Morning America on October 13, 2025, slated for a December 12 premiere. This announcement was accompanied by the first trailer for the docuseries, which found Swift looking back on the stories and the efforts that made the Eras Tour a reality.

In a recent update, Swift announced through her official socials that the official trailer for The End of an Era is set to be released very soon.

Taylor Swift announces release date for The End of an Era official trailer

Since the October 13 reveal that a six-part docuseries and a final Eras Tour show concert video were set to premiere this December, there have been no updates on the Taylor Swift releases, that is, until today. Swift recently took to her socials and announced that the final trailer for The End of an Era was set to be released on November 13.

The official trailer for the six-part docuseries is set to be released first on Good Morning America on November 13. The Grammy-winning artist has used the Good Morning America news program on multiple occasions for release announcements, including the docuseries and concert film announcement. Good Morning America goes live from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. ET.

The official trailer will also go live on Swift's official channels from Instagram to YouTube soon after its reveal on the Good Morning America news program. The six-part docuseries, The End of an Era, is set to premiere with two episodes on December 12, followed by two more episodes on December 19. The final two episodes, which will be released on December 26, will conclude the docuseries' run on Disney+.

Talking about the docuseries, Swift revealed that:

"It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety."

The first two episodes of the docuseries will be accompanied by another concert movie from Swift, titled Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show. This concert movie is set to document the final Eras Tour show, including the Tortured Poets Department set, which was not a part of the first concert film released for the Eras Tour on Disney+.
