CBS procedural Tracker Season 3 subject to major changes in the cast
The CBS drama had been rumored to have undergone major changes in its cast before the third season premiered, and this has been revealed to be true. Tracker Season 3 stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a lone wolf survivalist who takes on cases to solve missing persons cases and earns rewards for his expert skills while being fueled by a complicated past.

While Colter is the definition of a lone wolf survivalist, his efforts have been supported by a group of people, including the lawyer Reenie Greene (played by Fiona Rene), Colter's go-to tech expert Bobby Exley (Eric Graise), and his business handler Velma Bruin (played by Abby McEnany).
However, by the time Tracker Season 3 rolled around, major shakeups in the cast left only two of the original series regulars, Hartley's Colter and Rene's Reenie.
The CBS drama is majorly different with these cast changes and is now rallying to find a new balance with its focus on Colter's cases as he finds whoever he's hired to find. Now, only Reenie and Randy (who joined in Season 2) work closely with Colter, who is going back to his lone wolf survivalist roots.
The third season is also allowing more focus on the elements that have made the series a hit so far. Additionally, it is allowing the focus to shift to the remaining series regulars, along with the addition of two new regulars.
According to reports from Deadline, Tracker Season 3 has made two new additions to the cast, with Kathleen Robertson set to join as Maxine, an attorney from a major law firm who will be recruiting Reenie, as well as Mark Engelhardt to play Emile Lang.

There isn't a lot of character description about Emile Lang except that he's a cold and calculating man, but Maxine's addition proves that the third season will also be focusing more on Reenie's character, as, along with expanding on her professional career, she will also be bringing new cases to Colter. Additionally, Randy will also be assisting Reenie with his skills, along with helping Colter out when he needs some tech support.
Tracker Season 3 is currently set to take a hiatus after December 14. It will return on March 1, but the recent changes to the show prove that it will be different when it returns from the hiatus, as the show will have fresh storylines for the audience.
