Following the massive success of Leanne, the titular comedian is once again arriving on Netflix with some new jokes in her stand-up special, Leanne Morgan: Unspeakable Things. The hour-long comedy set marks her second stand-up special on Netflix after 2023’s Leanne Morgan: I'm Every Woman.

Netflix has now confirmed the release date for the special feature as November 4, 2025. Hence, the actress will be back with new content on the streaming platform just over three months after the release of her sitcom, which debuted on July 31, 2025.

Morgan had signed a deal with Netflix for two comedy specials after the record-breaking viewership of her 2023 feature. Leanne Morgan: Unspeakable Things will mark the first of the two upcoming sets.

Leanne Morgan: Unspeakable Things will draw inspiration from the comedian and actress’ real life. She will share some humorous anecdotes with the audience, including her experience with stardom and her family life. The logline for the stand-up special reads:

“[The show will have Leanne Morgan] opening up about everything — from newfound stardom and family life to trying CBD for the first and last time.”

The feature has been directed by Manny Rodriguez and executive produced by Judi Marmel and Emily Noonan, along with Morgan. Meanwhile, another stand-up special by Morgan is in development at Netflix as a part of her overall deal, which will come out in 2027.

The comedian’s association with the streamer began in 2023 with the release of Leanne Morgan: I'm Every Woman. The comedy feature became the most-watched comedy special by a female comedian on the streaming platform.

Two years later, the collaboration continued with the sitcom Leanne. Created by Morgan along with Susan McMartin and Chuck Lorre, the show revolves around the titular character as she rebuilds her life when her husband of more than three decades leaves her for another woman. Meanwhile, she finds support from her eccentric family.

The series also starred Kristen Johnston as Carol, Ryan Stiles as Bill, Celia Weston as Mama Margaret, Graham Rogers as Tyler, Blake Clark as Daddy John, Hannah Pilkes as Josie, Jayma Mays as Mary, Blake Gibbons as Dylan, Andrea Anders as Becca, Tim Daly as Andrew, and Annie Gonzalez as Nora. Talking about the show, Morgan said in an official statement to Tudum:

“This is something I’ve dreamed of since I was a little girl, and it was just as exciting as I imagined. Learning a new medium was definitely a challenge — memorizing new scripts every week was totally new for me — but I loved it.”
