While fans eagerly await All of Us Are Dead Season 2, one of its cast members has already dropped out of the acclaimed apocalyptic K-drama. Yes, you read that right.

It's been three years since All of Us Are Dead came out on Netflix, diving into a terrifying scenario where a group of high school students find themselves stuck in their school, Hyosan High after a deadly zombie virus suddenly spreads. The chaos took over after a science teacher tried to experiment on an infected rat.

Little did the teacher know that he would accidentally unleash a horrifying virus inside the school's science lab. This virus doesn’t just make people sick, but also transforms them into aggressive and flesh-hungry zombies.

The series wasn't just praised for its intense writing, but also for how well it was written and built suspense episode after episode. Following the success, it was announced that a second chapter of this apocalyptic K-drama will come out.

But despite three long years passing since Season 1 aired, there’s still no major update to get fans excited. And to make things more disappointing, Roh Yoon-seo who was initially expected to play one of the lead roles in All of Us Are Dead Season 2, has now exited the project.

Actress Roh Yoon-seo departs from All of Us Are Dead Season 2

All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is definitely happening. Netflix officially confirmed it. But despite that exciting news, fans will need to wait much longer than expected.

The series has hit several production delays that have significantly pushed back its timeline. As things stand now, the most realistic estimate for its release is sometime in 2026.

Some of the main cast members, including Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon and Park Ji-hu are expected to return. However, not all casting news has been positive. Roh Yoon Seo, a prominent actress who was initially reported to join All of Us Are Dead Season 2, will not be part of it anymore.

Reports suggest Roh Yoon Seo has left the project because of time conflicts. This has made numerous fans concerned not only because of the departure of the actress, but also regarding potential changes in the direction of the story and the characters involved.

Apart from regular cast members, the second season will introduce new characters. Additionally, unlike Season 1, which was closely based on its webtoon source material, All of Us Are Dead Season 2 will have a more original storyline that deviates from the webtoon.
