Beast Games Season 2 release date and new concept revealed 

The second season of Mr Beast's Beast Games finally has a release date as Amazon has released further details about what the show's new season will be about. The reality competition show broke records earlier for it's insanely high prize money and becoming the most watched unscripted series ever on the platform. It was later renewed for two more seasons, the first of which is coming out early next year.

According to Amazon, the second season of Beast Games will bring together "100 of the planet’s strongest competitors and 100 of the world’s smartest minds in a “Strong vs. Smart” battle for an eye-watering $5 million prize." The prize money remains the second highest ever amount offered on television, with Jeffrey Randall Allen, the winner of the show's first season being the recipient of the highest amount ever.

As announced, the second season of Beast Games will premiere on Prime Video on January 7, 2026 with the first three episodes. After that, new episodes will follow.

Beast Games is one of the most ambitious reality competitions ever attempted, created by Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson with Tyler Conklin, Sean Klitzner, and Mack Hopkins. Donaldson hosted the show with a thousand contestants who entered challenges for a five million dollar prize which was promoted as the highest single payout in television history. The idea took shape after the success of Donaldson’s “456,000 Dollar Squid Game in Real Life” video and the cultural wave created by Netflix’s Squid Game. Prime Video launched the first two episodes on December 19, 2024, with the ten episode season rolling out weekly on Thursdays.

CEO of Beast Industries, Jeff Housenbold, spoke about the show's renewal and stated,

“Our goal was to deliver the biggest, boldest competition series ever created, and the response has exceeded every expectation. Beast Games resonated with fans around the world, and that’s a testament to the creativity of Jimmy and the entire Beast team. We’re grateful to Amazon for their continued partnership, and we’re excited to raise the bar even higher in the next two seasons.”

Filming for season two ran from June through August. Casting began as early as March 2025, and by May, industry outlets reported that the show was on track to continue for multiple seasons. Donaldson himself said he was completely certain the collaboration with Prime Video would continue. Mike Hopkins, head of Amazon MGM Studios, echoed that sentiment at the Milken Institute Global Conference, hinting that several more seasons were already in the pipeline. The official announcement for seasons two and three came later that same month.
