Disney+ and its sister streaming services are once again raising their subscription prices. Beginning October 21, 2025, you will need to shell out more money to enjoy your favorite content on Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select.

The basic plan for Disney+ is going up by $2 and will now cost $11.99 per month, while the price for the Premium plan has been increased by $3, and it will cost $18.99 per month.

The update comes at a time when Disney is under fire from fans for suspending Jimmy Kimmel Live! after the host’s remarks on Charlie Kirk’s death. The company has already lost billions of dollars due to the outrage.

Here’s how much Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Select will cost now

The ad-supported basic plan on Disney+ was earlier priced at $9.99 per month, which is now being increased to $11.99 per month. The Premium ad-free plan was charged at $15.99 per month, and is now going to cost $18.99 per month.

Meanwhile, Hulu’s basic plan’s price has been raised from $9.99 to $11.99 per month. However, the cost of the premium ad-free plan on the platform remains unchanged at $18.99 per month.

Similarly, ESPN Select will cost $12.99 per month instead of $11.99. The new prices will be effective from October 21, 2025. The full list of the streamer’s bundle options and their new monthly prices is listed below:

This is the third time in three years that Disney has increased the prices of its streaming services. The previous raises happened in October 2023 and October 2024. The timing of the decision coincides with the outrage around the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show.

The series was taken off-air by Disney after the FCC’s involvement, but has not been reinstated and is returning to television screens on September 23, 2025. Meanwhile, Disney’s stock price took a hit due to the controversy and public backlash, and the company is said to have lost around $4 billion.
