Apple TV+ is all set to premiere a brand-new thriller series, titled Down Cemetery Road, starring Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson on October 29. The series comes from the minds behind the Emmy-winning Slow Horses. A brand-new trailer reveals long-hidden, complex conspiracies emerging in light of the disappearance of a girl.
The thriller series is an adaptation of the Slow Horses author’s book of the same name. It features Emma Thompson as a snarky private detective who becomes involved in a government conspiracy after Ruth Wilson’s Sarah Trafford approaches her about the disappearance of a young girl.

What is Down Cemetery Road about? Details revealed

The latest Apple TV+ thriller follows Emma Thompson's Zoë Boehm, a private detective with a sharp eye and limited resources, and Ruth Wilson's Sarah Trafford. Sarah approaches Zoë, and the two immediately share an interesting dynamic with a lot of chemistry. As Sarah unfolds her tale about the disappearance of a young girl after a house explosion in her quiet Oxford suburban neighborhood, Zoë's interest is piqued, to say the least.
"Maybe this case could go all the way to the top"
only to be told:
"Well, maybe, sort of all the way to the middle."

Nevertheless, despite her limited resources and security footage that cannot be zoomed in, she does manage to ruffle some very dangerous feathers:
"This nosy woman needs to be stopped. Do you understand? "(a gun is cocked)
As the unlikely duo comes together to investigate the conspiracy, they find themselves in the midst of a massive government cover-up, one that makes them fear for their lives. Where this conspiracy might lead them, only time will tell. The official synopsis reads:
"When a house explodes in a quiet Oxford suburb and a girl disappears in the aftermath, neighbor Sarah Trafford (Wilson) becomes obsessed with finding her and enlists the help of private investigator Zoë Boehm (Thompson). Zoë and Sarah suddenly find themselves in a complex conspiracy that reveals people long believed dead are still among the living, while the living are fast joining the dead."
