Stranger Things Season 5 will be shown by Netflix in three installments. The two volumes will be shared on November 26 and December 25, 2025. It will be followed by a finale on December 31. One year after Season 4, the eight-episode season premieres, and while the military searches Hawkins for Eleven, the group intends to stop Vecna.

Amybeth McNulty joins as a series regular, and much of the main cast returns, and the tale revolves around the group's last-ditch struggle to save Hawkins as the anniversary of Will Byers' disappearance approaches.
