The Real Housewives of New Jersey concluded its most recent season 14 on August 11, 2024. For the first time in the show's history, the 14th season ended without a "traditional" reunion after multiple feuds and cast members’ division into two groups.
In a recent appearance on Two Ts In A Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge on August 22, 2024, Melissa Gorga opened up about the renewal of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. While discussing the subject of RHONJ renewal, Melissa shared that she was prepared for anything.
Melissa added that she and her fellow housewife, Teresa Giudice (also her sister-in-law), are very different.
"I am prepared for anything at this point, obviously. Because of all the rumors that are out there. I am fully prepared for anything. I think I would realize that her (Teresa) and I are two extremely different characters, so to speak, on the show right?," shared Melissa.
Melissa Gorga’s take on possible Real Housewives of New Jersey renewal and her return
Just a few days ago, Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 ended without a reunion, and many cast members are not on good terms with each other. The last season featured housewives appearing for "watch parties"/reunions in separate rooms. There were two teams, Team Teresa and Team Melissa.
Team Teresa had Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Aydin, while Rachel Fuda, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral, and Jennifer Fessler were in Team Melissa. Fellow housewife Dolores Catania went to both rooms.
After the watch parties/reunion, housewife Melissa Gorga recently shared her thoughts while appearing on Two Ts In A Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge.
Melissa shared that if the channel, Bravo, decided to go down “the darker route,” she wouldn’t want to be part of the show. However, she mentioned that she wanted to be on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, but she didn’t want to be part of "that toxic sh*t."
"So if Bravo decides to go that route and the darker, whatever it is, route, then I need to say that is not a show that I want to be on anyway, which it truly isn’t. I do want to be on the Real Housewives of New Jersey. I don’t want to be on that toxic sh*t," shared Melissa.
By the end of the podcast, Melissa said that,
"So as long as, you know, she (Teresa) is there, and that whole thing would come back, it’s, I wouldn’t find it as so much."
During the podcast, Melissa revealed many things, and they talked about Teresa Giudice, her husband Luis, whether Melissa has spoken to fellow housewife Jackie Goldschneider, and other such matters.
