Another Reba alumna will make her way to Knoxville in NBC's Happy's Place Season 2. Sweet Magnolias star JoAnna Garcia Swisher is all set to guest star in the sophomore season of the sitcom and reunite with her Reba co-stars Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman.
JoAnna Garcia Swisher will play the guest character of Kenzie and her character description, as reported by Deadline, reads as follows:
''A local Knoxville influencer who has been hired to represent Happy’s Place for their upcoming social media marketing campaign and all of it is much to Bobbie’s chagrin.''
JoAnna Garcia Swisher is the next Reba alumna to join the NBC sitcom after McEntire, Peterman, Steve Howey and Christopher Rich. Both Rich and Howey appeared as guest characters in Happy's Place Season 1.
Happy's Place Season 2 is set to air on NBC on Friday, November 7. Swisher's episode will be aired in 2026.
Season 2 of Happy's Place will also feature the returning cast of Belissa Escobedo as Isabella, Rex Linn as Emmett and Pablo Castelblanco as Steve.

JoAnna Garcia Swisher to guest star in Happy's Place Season 2
NBC's Happy's Place, created by Julie and Kevin Abbott, premiered on October 18, 2024 and was renewed in February 2025. The show is set in Knoxville, Tennessee and follows Bobbie McAllister (McEntire), who inherits her father's tavern after his death. However, Bobbie soon discovers that she has a half-sister named Isabella, who is the result of her father's affair with a woman. The two estranged half-sisters come to terms with their combined ownership and try to run the titular tavern together.
In Happy's Place Season 2, Bobbie and Isabella's joint venture will return with new secrets and adventures. The characters will continue to grow and the two half-sisters will learn a new meaning of found family.
JoAnna Garcia Swisher's addition suggests that Happy's Place will enter the social media marketing game in Season 2, which will not sit right with Bobbie. Swisher and McEntire's reunion in Season 2 will especially be delightful for Reba fans, who loved their mother-daughter dynamic in the 2001 comedy series.
Swisher plays the lead Maddie Townsend in Netflix's romantic drama series Sweet Magnolias, based on a series of books by Sherryl Woods. The actress has also appeared in projects like Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, The Astronaut Wives Club, Once Upon a Time, Animal Practice and Better with You.
Peterman even shared a heartfelt picture of this small Reba reunion on her social media, ahead of the Happy's Place Season 2 premiere.
In addition to Swisher, Season 2 has also added NBC's Taxi alums Christopher Lloyd and Carol Kane and Saturday Night Live veteran Cheri Oteri.
