Phaedra Parks recognized an unmistakable opportunity when Kenya Moore was fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta earlier this season. To her credit, she did not let it go to waste, and now the former reality star is back in the fold as a member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast.

Her appearance on the show’s episode that aired on May 25 was the first time she has been featured as part of the cast since her unceremonious exit from the franchise eight years prior. The attorney certainly made a triumphant return, emphatically stating,

“I heard you were looking for me. Here y’all go. I’m back where I belong. Baby, I am home.”

Porsha Williams took the initiative to usher Phaedra into the group after an almost decade-long hiatus.

By now it is widely known that Phaedra Parks was initially fired from the show for some legitimately treacherous behavior. In 2017, she alleged that former Housewife Kandi Burruss and husband Todd Tucker had concocted a plan to drug Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton in order to take advantage of them sexually. Looking back, Parks recognizes that this wasn’t her finest moment and expressed those feelings in a confessional.

“Unfortunately, the last time you saw me wasn't my best moment. Now, we know I regret how I left the group, but he who is without fault cast the first stone.”

On the state of her relationship with Porsha, Parks was equally candid, and decidedly hopeful for the future:

“My relationship with Porsha is awesome. We have had our ups and downs, but we've always maintained that friendship. When there is a true friendship, no matter what you go through, it can never be broken, and it's just like riding a bicycle. When we get together, we are rolling. Wonder Twins, activate.”

As Parks settled back into the swing of things, she began to let loose and let her wit take over, not hesitating to rib her new castmates. Phaedra also expressed her obvious excitement to be back,

“I cannot wait to dive in and have some fun,” Phaedra concluded. “Ooh, so delicious, like a buffet of foolishness."

Parks also recently made a dazzling appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

It seems that as long as she stays the course, her spot on the cast is fairly secure. New episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta air every Sunday, and are available to stream worldwide.
