Percy Jackson And The Olympians Season 3 has just added a new cast member to the team, and Marvel fans might find her pretty familiar. Dafne Keen, who is best known for her role as Laura/X-23 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will now be playing Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt and the moon.

Keen has previously worked on the X-Men film Logan and later reprised her role in Deadpool and Wolverine. Apart from the MCU, she has also worked in the Star Wars franchise, having played Jecki Lon in The Acolyte.

The official description of her role reads,

“She prefers the freedom of the outdoors to the politics and formality of Olympus. Her immortal Hunters are her constant companions, and she has little contact with mortals, making her a bit out of touch with modern human culture. She is regal and an honorable fighter who will stand up to grave challenges.”

The actress is joined by Saara Chaudry, who will be playing Zoë Nightshade, one of Artemis’ lieutenants. She is known for her roles in the Disney+ shows The Muppets Mayhem and The Mysterious Benedict Society.

Percy Jackson is officially back, and this time the stakes are bigger, messier, and way more fun. Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians started with season one in December 2023, bringing Rick Riordan’s beloved books to life. Walker Scobell plays Percy, the protagonist. Alongside him, Leah Sava Jeffries is Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri brings Percy’s best friend, Grover Underwood, to life. Critics loved the mix of humor, heart, and adventure, and yes, the show cleaned up with eight wins at the Children’s and Family Emmys.

Season two of Percy Jackson And The Olympians, dropping December 10, 2025, plunges Percy straight into The Sea of Monsters. The premise of the show revolves around Camp Half-Blood, which is in chaos: Kronos’ forces are on the rise, Grover is missing, and Percy has to brave monstrous seas to find the Golden Fleece.

New characters shake things up: Daniel Diemer as Percy’s Cyclops half-brother, Tyson, Tamara Smart as the rebellious Thalia Grace, and Andra Day as Annabeth’s goddess mother, Athena. The Gray Sisters, a quirky trio who run an Olympian taxi service, are played by Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, and Margaret Cho, each with a unique role in the chaotic company.

Returning favorites include Charlie Bushnell as Hermes’ son Luke, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, and Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes himself, who makes an early appearance. After the passing of Lance Reddick, Courtney B. Vance steps into the role of Zeus, carrying forward the sky god’s legacy with gravitas.

Before the second season even drops, the show has already been renewed for a third season, although the details are a little blurry. Hopefully, the premise will be cleared up once the second season drops on December 10, 2025.

The first season of Percy Jackson And The Olympians is available to stream on Disney+.
