NCIS: Tony & Ziva’s trailer has surpassed the views amassed by recent NCIS spin-offs like NCIS: Origins, NCIS: Sydney, and NCIS: Hawaiʻi. The trailer was launched on May 5, 2025, and received 26.5 million views from YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), within a week.

Around 13 million views came from digital platforms like Paramount+, and the rest were garnered via broadcast networks, as the trailer is also being aired on CBS. With the unprecedented performance, NCIS: Tony & Ziva has also set the record for the most-watched Season 1 trailer for a Paramount+ series.

The show marks the seventh installment in the NCIS franchise and brings back two fan favorite characters: Tony and Ziva, lovingly called Tiva. Their will-they, won't-they romance was a highlight of the mothership series for several years, until the two said goodbye to the show. Ziva faked her death to protect Tony and their daughter, Tali, and Tony eventually decided to leave the agency to settle with his family in Paris.

As per the trailer, Tony and Ziva’s will-they, won't-they romance continues in the spin-off as they still face troubles in their relationship. At one point, Tony reveals he has not been home for a long time. However, their past soon catches up to them and puts their daughter in danger. The two then have to team up to protect their family.

Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are reprising their roles as Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David, respectively. This is the first time the two will be seen together in over a decade since Ziva’s exit from NCIS in Season 11, which has further piqued the viewers’ interest. The show also stars Isla Gie as Tali David-DiNozzo, Amita Suman as Claudette Caron, and Lara Rossi as Sophie Summers.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ in the Fall of 2025.
