The Good Place creator Michael Schur is all praise for Ted Danson, whom he has worked with across two successful shows, praising the star for his dedication and discipline and how hardworking he is. In an interview with People Magazine, Schur, who is the creative genius behind The Good Place and A Man on the Inside, talked about Danson's working ethics and how he impresses him every day and said,

"No one's more dedicated. Nobody cares more. He's been doing this for 50 years. If he wanted to phone it in, he could totally phone it in and everyone would be fine with it, but he never phones it in. He just works so hard. He cares so much. He is so thoughtful about the way he goes about his craft, and what he brings to the set every day is incredible.”

He then praised Danson's range on screen and added,

"I mean, who has more range? Think about his career. It's multi-cam comedy, and then Damages and then single-camera comedy. He's done everything, like Bored to Death. The tones of the shows that he's done, they run the gamut. You can't have a wider range than that guy,”
