Percy Jackson And The Olympians is already getting more praise from fans as Disney revealed that the newest trailer, released on November 6, pulled in 135.9 million views across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook in just ten days. That is a massive jump from season one’s trailer, which hit 84.3 million views in the same window. Nearly half of the audience came from outside the United States, showing just how global the enthusiasm has become.
Season two adapts The Sea Of Monsters, the second book in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series. The trailer hints at another high stakes quest for Percy, played by Walker Scobell, as the future of Camp Half Blood and the safety of his best friend Grover, portrayed by Aryan Simhadri, depend on him. Returning cast members include Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn and Daniel Diemer. Tamara Smart joins as Thalia Grace. Jason Mantzoukas, Timothy Simons and Lin Manuel Miranda appear again in recurring roles.
The positive response from fans already means great things for the show, that is going forward with a third season. For now, all we can do is wait to be a part of Percy's next adventure!
