Prime Video drops official trailer for Maxton Hall - The World Between Us Season 2
Harriet Herbig-Matten's Ruby has always been one to know what she wants and to fight for it in the German drama Maxton Hall - The World Between Us.
It wasn't until Danian Hardung's James was faced with the consequences of leaving Ruby that he had to adopt the same zeal. However, the first season's ending, where James chooses not to confide in Ruby after his family is shattered, did not leave fans of the show with much confidence.
The latest trailer from Prime Video suggests that this couple has a lot more fires to cross before finding some peace. The trailer to Maxton Hall - The World Between Us Season 2 opens with Ruby's voice-over saying:
"Some dreams are so beautiful that you want to stop time."
It's more than clear that she's talking about her romance with James; however, it doesn't take long for the romance to fade away as she spots a drunk James kissing someone else:
"Sometimes one second is enough to turn them into a nightmare," she says.
Her world falls apart when she witnesses her nightmare coming to life. Ruby isn't one to easily fall apart, but this betrayal cuts her deep. James is going to have to work really hard to redeem himself and get her to look at him the same way again.
This fight is not going to be easy for James, because Maxton Hall - The World Between Us Season 2 is set to be much darker and much more mature. The gulf between the two is wider than ever as James' sister reminds him that he belongs to a different world than Ruby. Their father is as determined as ever in his attempts to force James to stay away from Ruby.
But most of all, James has to convince Ruby to forgive him and to give him another chance. The trailer does feature some intimate moments between the two, so here's hoping James succeeds in his fight for his love.
Maxton Hall - The World Between Us Season 2 is going to test James' feelings for Ruby in every possible way.
Maxton Hall - The World Between Us is set to premiere with the first three episodes on November 7, 2025, and will be followed by weekly episode drops, setting the finale up for November 27.
