Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are keeping their Hollywood chapter alive, securing a new multi-year deal with Netflix under which Archewell Productions will continue creating documentaries, series, and lifestyle content for the streamer. The renewal follows their headline-grabbing 2022 docuseries Harry & Meghan and signals the couple’s commitment to telling globally resonant stories.
In a statement, Markle commented on the extension:
“We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand. My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”
Bela Bajaria, Chief Content Officer for Netflix, also spoke about the deal. She noted that fans have been inspired by Meghan's show, and with her new As Ever products selling out quickly, the extension is seen as a profitable partnership. Her full statement reads:
“Harry and Meghan are influential voices whose stories resonate with audiences everywhere. The response to their work speaks for itself — ‘Harry & Meghan’ gave viewers an intimate look into their lives and quickly became one of our most-watched documentary series."
More details about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's collaboration with Netflix
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first joined forces with the streamer in 2020, and have since delivered a varied lineup: the record-breaking docuseries Harry & Meghan, the powerhouse leadership spotlight Live to Lead in 2022, Heart of Invictus in 2023, and the high-stakes equestrian docuseries Polo in 2024. Harry & Meghan was a huge success, and the show continues to be Netflix's most-watched docuseries of all time as the whole world tuned into the royal couple's candid show.
Meghan Markle has also carved out her own screen space with With Love, Meghan, a Montecito-based lifestyle series that blends recipes, design inspo, candid chats, and just the right amount of California glow. The show came hand-in-hand with her lifestyle brand, As Ever, also partnered with Netflix. Season two is on its way this month, with famous friends like Chrissy Teigen and José Andrés dropping in, plus a holiday special in December promising cozy chaos.
But the Sussex storytelling doesn’t stop at their doorstep. Coming later this year is Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within, a documentary short celebrating a Ugandan orphanage where children turn adversity into joy through dance. Apart from that, they’re also adapting Carley Fortune’s bestselling romance Meet Me at the Lake for film.
This renewed deal is Prince Harry and Meghan Markle doubling down on heartfelt, headline-worthy content that mixes purpose, charm, and a touch of royal sparkle. Netflix queues everywhere just got more interesting, as there’s a whole new world of royal stories yet to be seen.
