Taylor Sheridan is the creator of the Paramount+ crime drama series Tulsa King. Dwight "The General" Manfredi, played by Sylvester Stallone, is a mafia member who was transported to Tulsa, Oklahoma, after serving 25 years in jail.
He starts establishing a criminal enterprise from the bottom up in a new city where he has no contacts. His attempts to start over and overcome fresh obstacles are shown in the series.
NOLA King is a Tulsa King spin-off that is set in New Orleans, and this new series is all set to star Samuel L. Jackson; however, before the starring role in the next series, he will make his Tulsa King debut in Season 3.
This specific and unique idea was developed by Taylor Sheridan, and Dave Erickson authored the screenplay, and its production is all set to start in 2026 with Jackson being the executive producer as well.
