The Last Frontier official trailer drops thrilling glimpses of convicts on the run amidst Alaskan wilderness

Apple TV has just revealed the first trailer for its latest thriller series, The Last Frontier, starring Jason Clarke, Haley Bennett, Alfre Woodard, and Dominic Cooper in key roles.

The official plot synopsis reads:

“The Last Frontier” follows Frank Remnick (Jason Clarke), the lone U.S. marshal in charge of the quiet, rugged barrens of Alaska. Remnick’s jurisdiction is turned upside down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates."

"Tasked with protecting the town he’s vowed to keep safe, he begins to suspect the crash wasn’t an accident, but the first step of a well-crafted plan with far-reaching and devastating implications."

Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio are co-creators on this exciting project, while Jason Clarke joined them as an executive producer. Besides them, Glenn Kessler, Sam Hargrave, Albert Kim, and Laura Benson were part of its creative and producing team.

The Last Frontier official trailer takes us right to the heart of the moment

Apple TV's newly released The Last Frontier trailer offers a glimpse into its high-octane setup, after a plane filled with prisoners crashes into the barren lands of Alaska. As these dangerous criminals are out in the wilderness, a U.S. marshal is determined to put an end to the mayhem they can cause in their otherwise quiet and peaceful lives.

The clip begins with a shot of Havlock, a high-priority criminal, being brought on a plane, along with a slew of criminals. He is so feared that they put him under a hood and keep him restrained to a chain, afraid of what he might do if he escapes their capture, even for a brief minute. Eventually, the worst they can imagine happens.

The plane crashes into the barren and freezing lands, leaving many criminals dead, while others escape. One of the escapees is the frightening criminal put behind the hood. The responsibility to catch him and others falls upon a local officer, but he or his department, at the current state, is under-prepared and unequipped to handle the stress of it all.

The Last Frontier will premiere on Friday, October 10, 2025, on Apple TV+. The premiere will feature the first two episodes of the season. Then, every other episode will be released every other Friday from December 5 onwards.
