More about Lucy Hale's nostalgic post, as she celebrates fifteen years of Pretty Little Liars
On Monday, June 16, Lucy Hale shared an Instagram post reminiscing about the sweet moments from filming Pretty Little Liars over a decade ago, as she celebrated the 15th anniversary of the series. In the caption, she wrote:
"Happy 15 years to PLL 🤫 the nostalgia!! Some of these photos are so low quality but it really was a different time lol."
In the post, Lucy Hale also shared a behind-the-scenes video from a moment on the show where a phone is seen catching fire. She wrote:
"The last slide is a video I stumbled on and didn’t even realize I had. Just a small, but not uncommon moment while filming this show."
Lucy Hale, in her May interview with Harper's Bazaar, talked about the fashion choices from the series that she loved and disliked. She said:
"Aria had those feather hair extensions, and I would totally wear those again. I may be too old for that now, but it was really cool.”
She further added :
"I personally never really dressed like Aria anyway, but I loved getting to step into her wardrobe because it was so different. I feel like that era of fashion in 2010 was so scary. I hope a lot of it doesn’t come back, like low-rise jeans and Jeffrey Campbell platform heels. I’m good with those not returning."
In her Instagram post, the "F*** Marry Kill" actress also expressed how grateful she was for the entire experience, adding a special note of appreciation for her fans. She wrote:
"I will always be grateful to everyone involved. And to all of you, who made this one incredible ride. Thank you for keeping this alive for so many years and I know it’ll be one that people keep discovering. I want to hear all the crazy A theories you had in the comments 💋."
According to People Magazine, Lucy Hale recently revealed in a Buzzfeed interview that she had auditioned for the part of Hannah Montana, which was eventually played by Miley Cyrus.
