Gemma will also have to face certain challenges. Her son is now going to take a step towards adulthood.

Grover grew up through the seven seasons of the series. This makes his graduation a sentimental aspect for the fans as well. Overall, the storyline of every character has progressed in a distinct manner, eventually leading to the final season.

It has been a natural and authentic journey that further enhances the satisfying tapestry of the conclusion. So, Mike Schiff adds, “It’s nice to be able to just get there”. His words are an indication of how smooth the journey of the characters has been up to the conclusion of the story.

Mike Schiff also points out that he does not want the last season of The Neighborhood to be “bloated”. Rather, he wants an ending that “feels intimate”.
