Lim Ji-yeon stars as Wi Jeong-sin on Nice To Not Meet You, a fiercely principled reporter whose uncompromising sense of justice lands her an unwanted demotion from political reporting to the entertainment beat. Sharp, persistent, and deeply allergic to celebrity nonsense, Jeong-sin treats her reassignment as a professional exile, even as it pulls her into conflicts she did not expect.

Lim Ji-yeon rose to prominence with her breakout film role in Obsessed, earning major newcomer awards and critical attention. Her career spans bold genre choices, including The Treacherous, Luck Key, Tazza: One Eyed Jack, Spiritwalker, and Revolver.

Kim Ji-hoon plays Lee Jae-hyung, a former professional baseball star whose career was cut short by a devastating injury, forcing him to reinvent himself as the CEO of Sports Eunsung.

Kim Ji-hoon is known for his long run of television romantic comedies, including The Golden Age of Daughters-in-Law, Love Marriage, Stars Falling from the Sky, and My Cute Guys. His later work spans with notable appearances in Joseon X-Files, Ballerina, and the Amazon Prime Video series Butterfly.

Seo Ji-hye portrays Yoon Hwa-young, a sharp and experienced entertainment editor working at Sports Eunsung, the company owned by Lee Jae-hyung.

Seo Ji-hye first gained acclaim in the horror film Voice and went on to work on dramas such as 49 Days, Punch, Don’t Dare to Dream, Crash Landing on You, and Red Balloon.

Choi Gwi-hwa plays Hwang Ji-sun, Lim Hyun-joon’s former manager who knows exactly how brutal the industry can be because he helped Hyun-joon survive it once before. He is obviously one of the people closest to Hyun-joon, as he joins him in his entertainment career once again.

Choi Gwi-hwa is a veteran character actor known for his work in The Outlaws, Bad Guys: Vile City, and Train to Busan.


Kim Hyun-jin as Lim Sun-woo

Kim Hyun-jin portrays Lim Sun-woo, Hyun-joon’s younger half-brother who appears to have everything figured out on paper. Accepted into medical school, Sun-woo quietly rebels against expectations by secretly pursuing an acting career.

Kim Hyun-jin has steadily built his career through youth focused dramas and supporting roles in K-dramas. You must have seen him before on Can You Deliver Time, Sugar Coating, Peach of Time and Peng.


Na Young-hee as Song Ae-sook

Na Young-hee plays Song Ae-sook, Hyun-joon’s mother and a former actress whose own career ended long before her son’s began.

Na Young-hee is an acclaimed actress with decades of experience across film and television, including Mom, the Star, and the Sea Anemone, Mission Baraba, Hello, Schoolgirl, Horror Stories, Forgotten, One the Woman, Gold Mask, Queen of Divorce, Queen of Tears,and Cinderella Game.

What is Nice to Not Meet You about?

Nice To Not Meet You uses workplace conflict to explore fame, power, and emotional honesty with the story following Lim Hyun joon, a once overlooked actor who suddenly finds himself back in the spotlight after starring as a righteous detective in a hit series. On the other side is Wi Jeong sin, a justice focused political reporter whose refusal to compromise her principles gets her pushed into entertainment journalism, a beat she openly resents.

Their worlds collide through press events, interviews, and carefully staged public appearances where nothing is quite as real as it seems. The show is written by Jeong Yeo-rang and directed by Kim Ga-Ram, and has already received positive views from the audience.

Nice To Not Meet You premiered on tvN in November 2025, airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 20:50 KST. The show is also available for streaming on TVING and Wavve in Korea and Amazon Prime Video internationally.
