Nice to Not Meet You Episode 13 recap: Hyun-joon's growing feelings towards Jeong-sin get tested

After the events of the previous episode of Nice to Not Meet You, Hyun-joon comes across a difficult situation because of his mother. This episode of the series starts off where things were left off in the previous season.

There is emotional distress and humor, along with revelations about struggles. Each of these aspects is brought together in a nuanced manner in this episode of Nice to Not Meet You.

Hyun-joon's growing feelings towards Jeong-sin get tested in Nice to Not Meet You Episode 13

In episode 13 of Nice to Not Meet You, Jeong-sin calls Hyun-joon to meet. Hyun-joon arrives. However, before Jeong-sin is able to make any statement, Hyun-joon gets a call from Mr. Hwang. Mr. Hwang tells him about his mother’s quarrel. He then asks him to arrive at the filming location.

Hyun-joon begins to panic and gets a panic attack, thinking about the situation that his mother put him in once again. Jeong-sin watches as Hyun-joon begins to panic. She then brings him outside and begins to comfort him. Jeong-sin’s presence helps Hyun-joon to feel comfort and calm down eventually. He then reaches the filming location and sees the trouble that his mother has caused by slapping her co-star.

On the other hand, Jeong-sin begins to look up details about panic disorder as she keeps on worrying about Hyun-joon. At this moment, Hwa-young arrives and asks her directly about dating a celebrity. Jeong-sin gets baffled but is able to manage the situation. As the episode of Nice to Not Meet You progresses, Hwa-young calls Hyun-joon. He tells him that he needs to be more proactive, otherwise he will get rejected by Jeong-sin.

The next day, Jeong-sin reaches Mr. Hwang’s office to discuss the economic situation. Right at that moment, Hyun-joon arrives. He was not expecting Jeong-sin to be there. Seeing Hyun-joon, Jeong-sin starts to leave, but Hyun-joon stops her by tempting her with the script of his projects. Jeong-sin is not able to resist and decides to read through the script.

At this moment, Hyun-joon asks about her thoughts on their relationship. He indicates that he is aware of the concerns. However, she should consider that he is also just an ordinary man. As this episode progresses, Hyun-joon is back at the filming location.

This time, he sees the acting of Seon-u and understands he is not made for this. He tries to make Seon-u relaxed. During the scene where Hyun-joon’s character is supposed to fall in love with Se-na’s character, he gets irritated. He has no intention of doing a romance scene with Se-na. However, he has to do it, as he had promised to do so.

As this episode of Nice to Not Meet You progresses, Hyun-joon decides to bring Mr. Hwang, Hong-sin, and Seon-u back to his house. He tries to impress Hong-sin so that he can say good things about him to his sister. His main motive is to impress Jeong-sin. While discussing the script, they get drunk. In the heat of the moment, Hyun-joon reveals his feelings for Jeong-sin in front of Hong-sin.

Hong-sin is extremely happy and even begins to dream about having Hyun-joon as his family. He then calls Jeong-sin to take him back so that Jeong-sin and Hyun-joon can speak. Hyun-joon then finally reveals the truth about his feelings to her. He then asks her to go on ten dates with him. This episode of Nice to Not Meet You ends with Hyun-joon and Jeong-sin in a difficult situation as two cars speed towards them.
