The eighth episode of Nice to Not Meet You finally takes a step towards the formation of a bond between Jeong-sin and Hyeon-jun. It is a blend of humor along with the emotional turmoil that both Jeong-sin and Hyeon-jun go through because of their feelings. This episode of Nice to Not Meet You is quite fast-paced. It brings forth the drama that the viewers were eagerly waiting for.

The unexpected link between Hyeon-jun and Jeong-sin's lives in Nice to Not Meet You Episode 8
This episode of Nice to Not Meet You starts with Hyun-joon, Mr. Hwang, Dae-ho, and Jae-hyeong going on a fishing trip. Dae-ho begins to ask Hyun-joon about his relationship. It quickly turns into an awkward conversation. Dae-ho then asks Mr. Hwang if he would like to expand his company. Hearing this, Mr. Hwang replies positively.
He then suggests that Mr. Hwang should transform his company into a full-fledged entertainment company. The scene cuts to Jeong-sin. The lawsuit still occupies her mind. Mr. Hwang, on the other hand, begins to dream about expanding his company; however, Hyeon-jun thinks that there is something “fishy” in the whole situation.
As the episode of Nice to Not Meet You progresses, Jeong-sin calls Mr. Hwang to meet her. Hyeon-jun decides to take over the meeting. She reaches to speak with Jeong-sin. Hyeon-jun tells her that he is able to bury any issue quietly. His words leave an impact on Jeong-sin. She begins to think about him even more.
Hyun-jun, on the other hand, begins to go through his fan pages. He begins to go through the comment section. He finds a comment that impresses him. However, he is further shocked when he finds that the comment is from Soulishere, the person to whom he sold the rice cooker. Jeong-sin goes to check her laptop to go through the news.
All of a sudden, she gets a message from Hyeon-jun’s official page thanking her for the messages she sent. She is completely taken aback. She begins to think about what to reply to the message. Hyeon-joon then goes to the table reading of season 5 of Pil-gu, but is irritated when Se-na keeps speaking. He then gets a message that Lee Gi-chun has passed away. The team goes to the funeral.
As this episode of Nice to Not Meet You continues, Hyeon-jun reaches the funeral home to find out that Jeong-sin is already there. Seeing Jeong-sin sitting on the floor, Hyeon-jun decides to give the reporters tables and chairs so that they are comfortable. He does it all for Jeong-sin. It can be understood that he cares about Jeong-sin’s well-being.
While returning from the funeral home, Jeong-sin clicks a picture of the moon and sends it to Hyeon-jun’s Onion account. Seeing the message, Hyeon-jun thinks about his psychiatrist’s advice. He understands that he needs to keep his distance from Soulishere. He then begins to ignore Seolishere’s messages. Jeong-sin, on the other hand, keeps on messaging Hyeon-jun’s Onion account.
Much of this episode of Nice to Not Meet You focuses on Jeong-sin and Hyeon-jun thinking about their feelings. Despite Jae-hyung’s inviting Jeong-sin for dinner, she decides to follow her feelings towards the person with whom she has been speaking on Onion, that is, Hyeon-jun. She sends a message on Onion telling him to meet her, as she has developed feelings for her.
When Hyeon-jun receives the message, he gets worried about which oath he should choose. On one hand, his feelings for Jeong-sin keep on growing; on the other, speaking with Soulishere gives him comfort. He then asks for some time to Soulishere. Hyeon-joon then received another message where Soulishere wrote about meeting after a week.
At the end of Nice to Not Meet You episode 8, the date of the meeting with Soulishere finally arrives. Hyeon-jun gets more and more worried about the whole situation. In the end, he decides to reach out to Byeong-gi for help. He tells Byeong-gi that he will follow his script if he does him a favor.
He then tells him to go to meet Soulishere instead of him and reject her. Byeong-gi accepts the proposal. Hyeon-jun follows him from far away. This episode of Nice to Not Meet You ends with Hyeon-jun getting the shock of his life as he finds out that Soulishere is Jeong-sin.
