In the past two episodes of Nice to Not Meet You, the dynamic between Lee Jung-jae’s Hyun-joon and Lim Ji-yeon’s Jeong-sin is developing in a distinct manner. Although they have some animosity between them, slowly things are changing. This is especially true after their brothers set them up for a blind date.

The blind date was not successful; however, the time they spent together left quite an impact on each other’s minds. This can be seen in how Hyun-joon keeps thinking about Jeong-sin throughout the day after their date. On the other hand, Jeong-sin begins to feel hesitant while her chief tells her to write an article about Hyun-joon’s mother and her connection with the industry.

In Nice to No Meet You, it is revealed that Hyun-joon’s past left an impact on his mind. His mother’s work was not taken well by him. Now, with the article that Jeong-sin wrote about his mother, the conference that he set up ends up in complete chaos. The reporters at the conference begin to pester him with questions, which causes him to have a panic attack.
