Netflix's latest Mexican thriller, No One Saw Us Leave, follows a mother's relentless search for her children after they are taken away by their own father. Yes, a classic instance of parental kidnapping. Based on Tamara Trottner's memoir, Nadie nos vio patir, this series gives us a sneak peek into Tamara's childhood when her biological parents were separated and her father took her and her brother away to Israel.

At the center of the story is Valeria Goldberg, a mother of two who teams up with a former Mossad agent and P.I., Elias, to find her children. When her husband Leo came to know about Valeria's extramarital affair with his brother-in-law, Carlos, he decided to take his children away from their mother.

He took the children under the pretense of taking them on a two-day vacation, but Valeria had no idea Leo was secretly leaving Mexico. Leo took the children all across Europe and even to South Africa before reaching their final destination, Israel.

Leo knew that Interpol was behind him, and he had to confuse them so that they would not be able to track him or the children. To know whether Valeria can find her children and whether she gets custody of them, watch No One Can Leave Us only on Netflix.

Tessa La plays Valeria Goldberg, a young wife and the mother of Issac and Tamara in No One Saw Us Leave. She was married to Leo Saltzman. However, she felt stuck in the relationship and got involved in an extramarital affair with Carlos (Leo's sister's husband).

When Leo came to know the truth, he was heartbroken, and he took a drastic step that changed Valeria's life. His decision plunged Valeria into a battle for her children despite being shunned by her community back home.

Tessa La is a Mexican actress, well known for her roles as Katia in Café Chariel and Vera in Unstoppable. Other notable projects include Something Blue, Sierra Madre: No Trespassing, Two Plus Two, and Nahui, to name a few. She is also set to appear in a couple of projects, including De Brutas,nada; Yellow, and La Banda.

Emiliano Zurita plays Leo Saltzman, Valeria's husband and father of Issac and Tamara. After finding out about his wife's extramarital affair, that too with his brother-in-law, he takes a drastic step. He decides to run away with his children, Tamara and Issac. He takes them all over Europe and eventually to Israel.

He loved his children way too much, and it was the fear of losing them that led Leo to set out on the journey when he knew that he could not hide forever. He knew Interpol was behind him, yet he chose to keep his track hidden until the time he came to Israel and settled in a kibbutz. In the end, he made an ultimate sacrifice to give his children a stable life.

Emiliano Zurita needs no introduction; he's a well-known actor, writer, and producer. He won the MEZCAL award for Best Performance at the Guadalajara International Film Festival. He's well known for his roles as Guillermo in Atypical Pirate, as Justino in Autos, mota y rocanrol, and as Monasterio in Zorro.

Gustavo Bassani as Carlos

Gustavo Bassani plays Carlos, Gabriela's husband, in No One Saw Us Leave. Carlos gets involved in an extramarital affair with Valeria. When Leo elopes with the children, he helps Valeria get custody of her children. In real life, Valeria and Carlos stayed together until Carlos passed away in 1997.

Juan Manuel Bernal plays Samuel Saltzman in No One Saw Us Leave. He plays the role of Leo's father and Tamara and Issac's grandfather. He was an influential figure in the community in Mexico, and he tried his best to help Leo and the children escape. But in the end, Leo was done running away and taking help from Samuel. He wanted to give Tamara and Issac a better life and not that of a refugee, and thus in the end he went against Samuel's order.

Juan Manuel Bernal is well known for his role as Gerardo Sandoval in the 90s Mexican soap opera Lazos de amor and as Vengador in Confessions. Other notable works include Heartbeat, Rage, Perfect Obedience, and The Blue Room, to name a few.

Ari Brickman as Elias

Ari Brickman plays Elias, a former Mossad agent and private investigator in No One Saw Us Leave. He helps Valeria track down Leo and the children. Brickman is well known for his role in All That is Invisible, Lucca's World, and Sense8, to name a few.
