No Tail to Tell: Cast, plot, and more

The upcoming K-drama narrates the story of Eun-ho, a gumiho, i.e., a mythical creature with 9 tails. She loves being a mythical creature, which gives her eternal youth but also lets her enjoy the comforts and joys like humans without complying with the morality of humans.

However, her life takes a shocking turn after an incident involving a 'narcissistic' and popular soccer player named Kang Si-yeol, and she is transformed into a human being and forced to live an ordinary life in the human world.

Recently, SBS released the first teaser for No Tail to Tell, where Eun-ho shares her rules of how to remain a gumiho for eternity and also the one rule she might break in the series, as she meets Si-yeol. The teaser also reveals what Eun-ho does to maintain her life, which is to 'grant wishes to rich people' and get paid for it.

The K-drama brings two of the most popular South Korean actors together as the lead couple, Si-yeol and Eun-ho. Eun-ho is played by Lovely Runner and Sky Castle fame, Kim Hye-yoon, and Si-yeol is portrayed by All of Us Are Dead actor, Lomon/ Park Solomon. The Korean fantasy series also includes several other popular South Korean actors such as Hong Soo-hyun, Jang Dong-joo, Lee Seung-joon, and Lee Si-woo, among others.

Tune in to SBS TV and Netflix on January 16, 2026, to catch the upcoming K-drama.
