"Not ready for a relationship" - Farmer Wants a Wife fans react to Colton picking Zoe in the finale 

Colton has made his final decision on Farmer Wants a Wife, and it is Zoe. By the time the finale rolled out, he had two dates left. These were Keeley and Zoe. The penultimate episode saw him have dinner with Keeley's family, where the two sides got acquainted with each other.

However, Keeley's parents were quick to notice that Colton is not ready to settle down and get married.

Laying out her concerns to him, Keeley said that she wants a husband, someone to settle down with. Colton reassured her, saying that there is nothing she needs to worry about. However, fans picked up on his behavior and claimed that the cattle rancher was never ready to be a husband at this time.

Previously, as well, when the dating phase was about to end on Farmer Wants a Wife, Colton was upset as he wanted more time to make his decision.

At the end of the season, Colton parted ways with Keeley and chose Zoe. He cited that he is making this decision by keeping his son Souther in mind. He wants to be with someone who is a step-mom figure to him.

Fans pointed out, though, that Colton is not ready to be married just yet, and he never was. Taking to X and voicing their opinions, they wrote,

"Colton so you’re not ready for a relationship but you want to be with Zoe???"

"I’m sorry I don’t know what these girls saw in Colton but I could never be heartbroken over a man like him," read a tweet.

"For next season don’t cast guys like John & Colton," expressed a fan.

"I feel so bad for Keeley…he should have never said that to her about basically he is choosing Zoey after all like that was so rude," said a fan.

Farmer Wants a Wife Season 3 - Colton picks Zoe over Keeley

During the penultimate episode of Farmer Wants a Wife, Colton had a date arranged with Keeley, and their families got together. In the last episode, he had the same time with Zoe and her family as well, to make an informed decision for his future.

Colton has recently been separated from his wife, with whom he shares a son. Talking about what he wants in a relationship, he wishes to have someone who would fit into their life. He also wishes to have more kids and a loving family with children of good values.

Breaking up with Keeley on the Farmer Wants a Wife season finale, Colton said that he has decided to select Zoe as his partner because they are on the same track right now.

He says she also does not want anything for a couple of years, just like him, and wishes to take it slow. He says that the two have a strong connection and thus would like to explore a relationship with Zoe.
