Participating sibling teams share their views on the show

The Food Network released a promo for the Baking Championship: Next Gen premiere on January 6, 2026. It revealed some of the participating teams, including the sibling duos.

This included:

  • Clara and Amelia,
  • Abby and Cameron,
  • Taanvi and Kavya,
  • Maci and Emmett,
  • Olivia and Norah, and more.

Some of the participants talked about how competitive they were. The first team was Clara and Amelia. The two sisters talked about being competitive but not being mean to their teammates.

"We are competitive people, sometimes. We're not going to be like, mean competitive or like say mean things to the other team like, Oh! Never. But we're gonna be competitive, where we're going to be like, we're going to do great, I think. Because I want to win so badly," shared Clara and Amelia.

The next team on Baking Championship: Next Gen was Abby and Cameron. Cameron noted that they were "very" competitive. The reason was that they were Philadelphians. He added that Philly was known for competitive people.

"Cupcakes are delicious. We think cupcakes as the unicorns of muffins," shared Taanvi and Kavya.

Olivia and Norah, the identical twins from Dallas, Texas, talked to the cameras about themselves. The two noted that their favorite thing about being twins was confusing people. For that, they used to cut their hair in the same style.

The Baking Championship: Next Gen promo also featured a few scenes of participants starting their bakes. Duff Goldman noted that Abigail was a "boss." Seeing her ordering Kenneth around, Cardea couldn't contain her laughter.

The producers asked Kenneth about Abigail being a "teacher." He responded that she could be frustrating:

"My name is Leila, and I really want to win this being competition for Melody because I know how much it will mean to her," shared Leila.

Listening to her sister, wanting to win the competition for her, Melody hugged her in her unique way.

Additional teams featured on the baking competition included Clara-Amelia, Maci-Emmett, and more.
